June Poole is an upcoming musician from the Bay Area who has achieved much success within the music industry. The twenty-year-old grew up playing sports such as basketball, football, and baseball but music has always been his number one passion. Being inspired by artists such as Chris Brown and Drake, June Poole decided to fully pursue and take his craft seriously in the summer of 2020. He has kept the momentum going with his latest release, “Red Flags.” The song is about the red flag trend that was all over social media where people were posting what they considered red flags in either relationships, people, or both. The visual is out now and you can get to know him below!

Q: Who inspires your sound?

A: Who inspires my sound would have to be Chris Brown, Drake fasho. Also, PND, Partynextdoor.

Q: What impact would you like to make with your music?

A:  I want it to touch everybody listening. I want people to feel good, have a good time when listening to my music

Q: Why is music a passion of yours?

A: Um, honestly, music has always been an essential part of my life—a way to escape certain things. I didn’t think I was like a singer or anything like that. Like when I first started messing around with music, I thought I would be a rapper. But then I started putting more melodies and doing melodic things, and then I became a singer as well. So, I call myself an artist rather than a specific title because I can do both.

Q: What has been a huge accomplishment of your career thus far?

A: I co-headline Migos’ concert back on October, 10/3/2021 for CU Boulders homecoming. But I think that the biggest accomplishment is that in one year, I’ve done major collaborations with well-known producers and writers, engineers, and other artists in the music industry.
