Master Kato is both grateful for his come-up and determined to rise as a solo artist and the proof is in the music embedded in his new EP Throw Awayz Vol 1. Christmas Edition.
The perennial Shoreline Mafia group member shared the project featuring ten new vibes, assuring his fans the music was a taste of the content that may arrive on his solo debut album.
“LIL MIXTAPE FOR YALL THESE THE THROWAWAYZ FROM THE ALBUM COMING 2021,” he wrote in the IG post.
Last year Kato appeared on several tracks from Shoreline Mafia’s major-label debut album Mafia Bidness including “Aww Shit” and “Gas.” The Los Angeles-based rapper effectively announced his pursuit to build a legacy as a solo artist on Instagram in a post thanking the group and flexing his gold and platinum plaques.
“THANKFUL AF BUT I NEED MO!” he started off in the caption.
Throw Awayz Vol 1. Christmas Edition is an eclectic expression of Master Kato’s confident and style-driven flows and effortlessly relaxed delivery. Along with his EP, Kato’s recent visuals for “Backdoor” received the suburban-thriller cinematic treatment and is a must-see.
