For Natalie Lauren, all roads have led to this moment. Playing a major role behind the scenes as songwriter and A&R for some of the industry’s biggest names, the Tulsa, Oklahoma native has inked a deal with major indy label, Rostrum Records, and isn’t wasting any time getting to work.

Stepping out of her giant shadow and into the forefront, Natalie returns to her roots in her new video for her song “Something Something”, which has a bigger story behind it than just a trip back to where it all began. “I had to bring this home, it belongs to my family. Their faces tell the stories I can’t. This is dedicated to my people who’ve been fighting for hope in Tulsa since 1921,” said the multi-talented singer.

Directed by Ray Spears and produced by Swoope & John Smythe, the uplifting nature of the song and video is undeniable. She went on to say,“You know that feeling you get deep down in your gut when something really good is about to happen but you don’t know what…you can’t explain it but you can feel it. That feeling is “Something Something.” The moment life is crazy but you remember there’s something or someone much bigger working things out for your good when you least expected it. It’s the second you know everything is gonna be okay.”

Her words resonate even more as she gives us a glimpse of the people, places and things that mean the most to her. You’ll come to find out that Natalie’s life in the Southwest is all about family, friends and everything in between, that not only made this song happen, but is responsible for shaping her into the person she is today.

There’s plenty to be excited about when it comes to her future at Rostrum Records. A relentless creator, this is only the beginning of what is already the start of a promising new adventure, with more songs and videos on the way, capturing the true talent of one of music’s brightest stars.
