From opening for Blockhead to after parties for Eastghost to playing Beat shows all over Arizona at venues like Last Exit live, Tempe Tavern and Thirdspace, Tru Vonne has been a DJ and producer transferring all of her energy from playing in the underground beat lab scene to becoming a full blown artist.
Performing at Sofar Sounds and My District Radio Phoenix, her sound ranges from new wave R&B to neo-soul. The honesty in her lyrics most notably gets compared to artists like Syd tha Kyd, SZA and The Weeknd.
Her smooth and self-produced debut single, “Alright”, hits worldwide May 25th on Universal Music and will be available for purchase on all digital music sites.
